   This screen print attempts to illustrate how the mountains feel surreal, almost like a fictional or abstract place. The background made up of a breaking dawn color pallette, interacts strongly with the stark blues and metallic hues of the foreground emergency bivvy. This contrast displays how a place once considered a dreamland, all of a sudden feels so real when something unexpected happens. Our thoughts quickly turn from adventure, to survival, a competition with yourself.
